The Reign SX 29 by Giant is your ultimate companion for tackling rugged terrain and achieving high-speed park runs. This mountain bike is built to devour uphill and downhill trails with its robust 170mm fork and smooth Maestro rear suspension, promising unbeatable control and stability.
Giants' Reign SX 29 is designed with an ultra-light, sturdy ALUXX SL frameset, which complements our latest Maestro rear suspension. Offering the precise blend of stiffness and strength, our frameset comes with a progressive geometry including shorter chainstays, a longer top tube, and head tube/seat tube angles. This positions you perfectly to master any singletrack. Delivering 146mm of smooth, active rear travel, our rear suspension comes with a new trunnion mount shock and an Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm. The SX model features a 170mm fork for excellent control over extreme descents.
Boasting of features targeted towards aggressive trail riders, Reign SX 29's cleanly routed dropper seatpost and the latest WheelSystem with Boost hub spacing and tubeless tyres equip you for any adventurous ride.
With Maestro rear suspension and a robust 170mm fork, perfected in Enduro World Series races, expect nothing but excellent performance from the Reign SX 29. The trunnion mount rear shock offers a longer stroke and a smoother feel, while an Advanced Forged Composite upper rocker arm enhances stiffness and lowers overall frame weight.
The Reign SX 29 is built with an enduro-ready geometry that instills confidence to undertake aggressive descents and navigate corners with ease. The 64.56/76.36-degree headtube/seattube angles come with a 42mm fork offset, delivering confident front-end handling, high-speed stability, and control.
The larger 29-inch diameter wheels smoothly roll over rough terrains with improved balance and stability, enabling you to navigate tough climbs and nail fast, technical descents.
Incorporating Advanced Composite Technology, Reign SX 29 uses Giant's High Performance Grade raw carbon material to create a custom frame with high stiffness-to-weight ratio. Our state-of-the-art Advanced Forged Composite Technology produces lightweight, stiffer, and stronger carbon fibre components than similar aluminium ones. In addition, our Maestro Suspension Technology and OverDrive system offer efficient, active, and independent suspension along with precise front-end steering performance.
