Our delivery charges are based on delivery to mainland Britain. For Northern Ireland, Northern Scotland and all off shore UK islands there is an additional charge. Orders placed after 2pm will be classed as the next working day. Unfortunately we do not ship to Jersey.

Due to worldwide parts availability issues and increased demand occasionally delivery times may exceed this. If this is the case we will contact you and offer you the option to wait, swap to an alternative product or receive a full refund. 


If you are unavailable to take delivery of your order at your address we may be able to arrange for the courier to leave your goods in a safe place or with a neighbour. Please be aware that we can take no responsibility for lost or damaged goods that you have chosen not to sign for. We regret that we can accept no responsibility for subsequent damage that may occur, once the order has been left at the delivery address.

BIKE DELIVERIES

Our preferred courier for Bike deliveries is DX 2 man service. Once the bike is collected from us, they will arrange a delivery day that is suitable for you. You will also be given a 2 hour delivery window, live tracking and a phone call 15-30 minutes before delivery. You must ensure that someone is in to accept delivery of the Bike, otherwise a full re-delivery charge will apply.

DELIVERY OUTSIDE OF THE UK

We do not currently offer delivery outside of the UK.

RETURNS, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

At Bicycle Chain our priority is to ensure you are highly satisfied with your purchase. In the unlikely event that you aren't, we offer a 30 day online return policy in which you can receive a full refund. Any item including bikes (with the exception of food and fitted Invisiframe) can be returned to us, unused and in original condition, for any reason. In the event an item is returned to ourselves in an unsuitable condition, we may have to return the item or offer a partial refund. Unless the return is due to a faulty product or an incorrect delivery on our part return postage will not be covered. If you believe that we should be covering the cost of the return please contact us on 01823 252499 or at support@bicyclechain.co.uk to discuss the available options in advance of returning the item.

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if you receive an item that is faulty, of un-satisfactory quality, unusable or that differs from how the product is described you are entitled to return the item for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. 

If goods are found to be faulty due to an inherent fault with the product the following rules apply:

Bike Returns: If you desire to return your bike, you must keep it in the box and packaged up as it was sent and call us on 01823 252499 to arrange a collection.

Please note the following:

  1. If the bike is damaged or the incorrect bike is sent, we will cover the cost of collection and delivery of the replacement bike.
  2. If we send the correct bike, but upon inspection you decide it is not the bike for you, there will be a £80 charge for the collection.
  3. Please do not ride the bike as a full refund cannot be given if the bike has been used.

Smaller Items - Parts and Accessories 

If the goods we have sent you are incorrect, please get in contact with us on 01823 252499 or at support@bicyclechain.co.uk, where we can send you a postage label to return your item.

If there is nothing wrong with the item you order and you just no longer want the item, no problem. Please post back to the below or drop in to one of our stores within 30 days of delivery

Once received we will re-imburse you within 48 hours of delivery.

Damaged Goods: If order(s) are broken or spoiled when it is delivered then you must notify us as within 24 hours of delivery, otherwise the returns policy becomes invalid. You will have the option of returning the whole order or just the affected items. You can notify us by phone on 01823 252499, email on support@bicyclechain.co.uk or by post by writing to The Bicycle Chain, 82 Priory Bridge Road, Taunton, TA1 1QA. All refunds under this returns policy will be paid within 30 days of you notifying us, providing that the merchandise has been collected by our courier. Any items being returned must be in their original packaging to prevent any further damage.

Cancellations: You can cancel an order at any time up to 7 days from the date of delivery as long as the items remain unopened and intact by calling us on 01823 252499​, contacting us via email on support@bicyclechain.co.uk or by post by writing to The Bicycle Chain, 82 Priory Bridge Road, Taunton, TA1 1QA . You will have responsibility for looking after the items until we collect it, we will reimburse the price of the items within 30 days from the date of which you inform us that wish to cancel the order, provided that the order has been collected by the courier. Unfortunately we are not able to reimburse you the delivery cost of sending unwanted items back to us.

Invisiframe Fitting: We will not fit any invisiframe without payment upfront. Once paid for and fitted, it is non refundable.

Warranty Claims

Should you notice any issues with your purchase, please get in contact on 01823 252499 or support@bicyclechain.co.uk so we can ensure a fast resolution for you. We also ask that you contact us before having a 3rd party undertake work on an item purchased from The Bicycle Chain. Any work carried out without our consent may not be eligible for reimbursement and could void future warranty claims for that item. 

AVAILABILITY

Unfortunately from time to time items may become unavailable, we will do our best to minimise this occurrence however if it should happen then we will contact you to suggest an appropriate alternative.
