This prestigious frameset celebrates its heritage with a nod towards the vintage colours and design that are synonymous with Giant, while also offering state-of-the-art downhill design and technology. It holds a robust, full-composite construction, a revolutionary Maestro suspension system, and extensive adjustability to cater to various types of downhill terrains.
This frameset features a thoroughly developed Maestro rear suspension system, fine-tuned over multiple seasons of World Cup racing. This system provides 200mm of smooth, active travel that ensures speed without compromise. Coupled with a 203mm travel fork, it guarantees absolute confidence and control on the most demanding downhill tracks and trails.
The introduction of three flip chips ensures unparalleled adjustability. This includes a three-position Maestro flip chip for customising your frame geometry based on your riding style and terrain. A headset flip chip adjusts reach for perfect positioning, and a rear dropout flip chip provides control of the overall wheelbase and handling characteristics.
Select between a 29-inch or 27.5-inch rear wheel to suit your riding preferences. This frameset can be equipped with a 'mullet' setup that combines a large front wheel with a smaller rear wheel, resulting in an agile riding experience with enhanced saddle-to-tyre clearance. However, if you prefer the speed and stability of two 29-inch wheels, you can effortlessly exchange the rear wheel.
The frame of this product is crafted from Giant's High-Performance Grade raw carbon material, using proprietary Modified Monocoque Construction. This results in a strong, stiff, lightweight frame that delivers exceptional performance.
High-pressure moulding is used to produce the complex-shaped carbon fibre components which are lighter, stiffer, and stronger than comparable aluminium parts. You'll also find this technology applied in important performance components like the Maestro Suspension rocker links.
Onboard you'll also find Maestro 3 technology, which allows riders to rapidly adjust the geometry and choose between a 29-inch or 27.5-inch rear wheel to meet their riding demands. You'll also enjoy the flexibility introduced by the new Glory Advanced that allows for precise fine-tuning of the bike features to match riding styles and terrain conditions.
